I watched a webinar on the sand hill cranes of Russia. It lasted 1 hour. Russia and China are working together to keep a safe flyway for migration. The mention of the virus made us realize this is a global concern.

It's raining today so I am watching for low spots in the yard and enjoying the bird activity around the water.

The love of the outdoors is so important to me.  If we take care of the earth the earth will take care of us. We need sun, rain, plants to keep us healthy.

I visited a neighbor and she shared some of her ground cover plants with me instead of throwing them away.  They attract bees and the bees are important for pollinators around our area. We have many nut and fruit trees on our land. I also shared my knowledge about plants that will draw butterflies and hummingbirds.

I watched a video today on the development of a Joey in a mother's pouch.  It was   short but very interesting.  I had already completed the Wild Animal post. This is worth it.

The earth is our natural home. It belongs to all of us. Therefore we all need to be responsible for the upkeep.

Educator Stephanie Kaza advises her students to focus on what they care about most when addressing the enormity of ecological problems. Is there a specific area you feel particularly called to work on?

Many people abuse wild flowers and natural vegetation while hiking. Especially if they are on vacation. I would like to encourage people to take pictures or buy books in the gift shop that have professional pictures all ready in them.

I helped a distraught neighbor with a major water leak. All waste materials were properly disposed of. The floor mopped and cleaned.
