Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?

Eating meat in other places is probably more likely because of access to resources. For most Americans, meat products are easily available if we have the means to purchase them. In other places, however, people may not have the means to do so or have their own farm.

Eating more meat affects our planet, humans, and animals in every way. From industrial chicken farming to cattle ranching in the middle of the Amazon, these massive infrastructures cause a devastating amount of pollution. We are currently dealing with the affects of this.
