    I spent time learning about how dented cans actually aren't that bad unless there is a dent at the seam or very deep. Good to know!

    An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?

    The amount of food waste in America is particularly alarming with the current crisis and how it has caused food banks to be overwhelming. Hopefully Americans are being better about not wasting food in this time, and I would love if that money could go towards feeding those who are hungry.
