Thank you to those of you who joined our St. Louis Goes Green! Earth Day Ecochallenge BROWN BAG LUNCH! How fun! We talked about raspberries on our fingers, dandelions in our salads, and thanks to LACY CAGLE (our Echochallenge expert) learned ways to amp up our point making so we can stay ahead of WashU Together (they're currently only 200pts behind us). We even had a WashU Together team member join our Virtual St. Louis Earth Day Festival event too! Sneaky.

Our virtual BROWN BAG LUNCH event was recorded so you'll be able to access it shortly on https://earthday-365.org/virtual-earth-day-festival/ to experience the fun and learn some Ecochallenge tips!

One question we left our Earth Day Festival attendees to think about and answer on our Ecochallenge St. Louis Goes Green! team page is:
"How individually, or with your family, work, or community do you believe we are going to elevate long-term impacts?" --How do we take the actions we've been doing for Earth since April 1st, and ensure we continue to make an impact long after April 30, 2020?

    What are you thoughts?

Create a post, invite others to join, and answer your reflection questions -- keep up the great work St. Louis Goes Green! #stlouisgoesgreen #earthday2020

NOTE: If you didn’t know, our team created our own ACTION for BUILDING RESILIENCE! It’s called: Connect Local, Support Local
We want to encourage teammates to connect with other local organizations – including our own: One STL, EarthWays Center, USGBC-Missouri Gateway Chapter, and Earthday-365 – PLUS ALL the other #goinggreen organizations, businesses, communities, and non-profits out there!
By practicing supporting one local business once a week, you can complete this Building Resilience Action.
Whether that be re-sharing a post, ordering curbside, making a donation to your favorite non-profit #giveSTLday, or finding a LOCAL business to purchase from! Also included in this Connect Local, Support Local team action are links to follow each of our St. Louis Goes Green! team's
social media handles. I encourage you to follow each other on each social media outlet both as individuals and as organizations!! #connectlocal #supportlocal as #stlouisgoesgreen #314together

St. Louis Goes Green! Ecochallenge Team! It's Day 14 of our eco-journey April 14, 2020. We're ranked #12 world-wide -- that WashU team just passed us up! We have a total of 83 members (lets keep it growing every day!) and have taken action and challenged ourselves enough to earn over 7,000 points. #1 Asheville High School has a total of 24,304 points. Think we can be #1 by April 30th?? I do!

Let's get together THIS Sunday April 19th, and dive-deep into this years Earth Day Ecochallenge and continue to share our challenges and success through this journey.
Go where the wifi will take you -- pack a lunch -- and let's meet one another and enjoy an eco-conversation, while encouraging others to join our Ecochallenge team! earthday-365.org/coming-soon/

I'll virtually see you all and your friends soon! @usgbcmogateway
