I notice that there's a lot less waste in my trash can. I plan to use this for my garden.

Excellent! Compost is amazing and it's the way Nature takes care of what humans call waste. In Nature, everyone's poop is someone else's food and it is part of a continuous cycle.

Over half of fats and oils come from crops that are pollinated. Without them we wouldn't have many grains, fruits, or seeds.

It holds 97% of the Earth's water. If I reduce my energy use, I can help take better care of the ocean.

Energy and water are linked in an interdependent relationship we refer to as the water-energy nexus. When we use one, we are using the other. Conversely, when we conserve one of them, we are conserving the other. Using less energy is a a great way to keep our oceans healthier.

It can also save you money.
Food waste amazes me, especially to the degree that we waste food in the States.

It helps me with my own mental health to not feel so lonely in this time of isolation. I am glad I can help others feel less lonely as well. I even find myself talking to strangers because I know that they need people too.

I generally don't like talking on the phone, but find myself doing it more these days. Sometimes I have text conversations instead because of my dislike of phones, but I am still talking to folks more often.
