Mary White 4/23/2020 9:53 AMThe winds are blowing lots of trash around out here in Greenfield. Wearing gloves and carrying a bag sure helps with picking trash up! Amount of beer cans and soda bottles spotted is saddening. -
Mary White 4/18/2020 9:40 AMHad a great walk yesterday! Saw lots of squirrels and 2 male blue jays! Picked up beer and soda cans for the trash. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFresh Water Eco-friendly GardeningWhat are the most prominent water concerns in your area? Examples include drought, flooding, pollution, access, security, and privatization.
Mary White 4/13/2020 12:43 PMFlooding of small streams, drainage areas plugged by trash or unraked leaves and branches.-
Mary White 4/30/2020 8:36 AMStanding water can bring mosquitos. Try to keep water flowing by raking and removing blockages. Look into building a bat house. Bats eat mosquitos!

Mary White 4/13/2020 12:24 PMTook a long walk yesterday and picked up a lot of trash! Will wear gloves next time! Saw many different birds and trees. I know oaks, maples, and can guess on a few other trees. Noticed that the sun has "shifted" more to the northern sky. Asked a few passing neighbors if they were doing okay-
