Action Track: Building Resilience
Volunteer in my Community
I will volunteer 10 hour(s) in my community helping people who are most at need right now, including elderly and immunocompromised people, people without childcare, and people whose jobs have been affected by social distancing measures.
Food
Reduce Animal Products
I will enjoy 2 meatless meal(s) and/or 2 vegan meal(s) each day of the challenge.

Sign up for a CSA
With local farm stands on hiatus, we decided to opt into a local CSA at Great Song Farms in Redhook. CSAs are amazing because our investment in the farm during early spring will help them make sure the summer harvest has buyers. It also is a great way to supply farms with the financial backing that small businesses are most at risk from right now! We are really excited about getting fresh veg starting in June!
Participant Feed
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.
To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Building Resilience Volunteer in my CommunityHow does volunteering enhance your community and/or change your relationship with it?
Karianne Canfield 4/20/2020 7:33 AMI have been making masks for my local community members, first with second hand materials I had around the house and now in bulk for donation to people delivering food, working in grocery stores, and providing other needs to our community. So far I have made 45 masks and will continue to until there no longer seems to be a need!
