I will connect with at least 2 person/people a day through phone call or video chat to support mine and other’s mental and emotional health during this challenging time.

REFLECTION QUESTIONPeople Spend Time OutsideRachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?
Jessica Fenton 4/21/2020 12:04 PMwell, if you spend most of your time indoors your body will lack Vit. D, you will be limiting the amount of fresh air you get, and i think you would be depressed more because of being inside all the time. i know when i go outside on a nice sunny day it makes me happy to feel the sun on my skin and just to see things outside instead of the same things in your house. -
Jessica Fenton 4/16/2020 10:57 AMI started this challenge about 3 days ago, it's hard to remember to check in everyday. I think as the days go on it will get a little easier to remember -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Building Resilience Connect While Social DistancingHow does connecting with others help your own mental and emotional health? How can it help support others?
Jessica Fenton 4/16/2020 10:55 AMTalking on the phone with others on a daily basis or vidio calling make me feel a little closer to them, and gives me someone else to talk to aside from my family I live with. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Compost Food WasteNew to composting? Be sure to check out the action resource links to learn tips and more about it. As you transition from throwing food away to composting, what do you notice about how much you are tossing? How will you use your compost once it is ready?
Jessica Fenton 4/14/2020 5:10 AMI notice I have less trash, and I am going to use my compost in my vegetable garden.
