Billie Galbraith 4/04/2020 9:46 AMHello all, my name is Billie Galbraith Haynes. Normally I am the cooking teacher at Children's World Montessori Preschool. Right now I am a stay at home mom to a 15 year old daughter Lola, 11 year old doxie and a 5 month old foster puppy.
We have not been as active in our eco practices since the quarantine. We barely use our car now and I can appreciate how wonderful that is for the environment.
I was born on the Illinois River and it is my hearts home. The diverse and unique plant life and the beautiful terrain and water never cease to amaze me.
The quarantine has many benefits for the environment. One concern I have is recycling. I know the bottle recycling is closed and I’m curious as to how cans and bottles will be handled?-
Erin M 4/04/2020 3:46 PMWelcome Billie Rose! Look at your beautiful family!!! -
Ana B 4/04/2020 3:29 PMWelcome Billie! So wonderful to have you join the team! I think that all bottles are still being picked up by Ashland Recology and are accepted at the Ashland Recycling Center. Does anyone else on the Team know of different information?
