Watching PBS/Frontline special on Plastics. While paper, aluminum, tin/steel and glass recycling work, there is a serious problem with plastics.

In what ways is your local community resilient to shock events like we’ve experienced recently? How could you help it become more resilient?

We have internet which allows us to order needed items even when stores are emptied. I would like to encourage people to plant gardens, have 3 months of expenses in a savings account in case of job loss, don't panic purchase, and eat leftovers to prevent food waste.
