REFLECTION QUESTIONPeople Earth Day Action: Research and Support Local OrganizationsWhy is it important to support local organizations and businesses? How does it help to build a more resilient community?
Nyia Terry 4/21/2020 8:13 AMIt is important to support local organizations and businesses because they often have a lower carbon footprint than larger organizations and businesses. This builds a more resilient community because these organizations and businesses are operated by the neighbors of the community. The owners actually care about and are invested in the well-being of the community.
