REFLECTION QUESTIONFresh Water Dishwasher EfficiencyHow can your region/household prepare for changing water situations in order to become more resilient?
Mark VanderKlipp 4/30/2020 9:51 AMWith our kid home for the duration, we've been filling up that dishwasher almost every two days! Amazing how much a 26-year-old man eats. -
Mark VanderKlipp 4/21/2020 10:30 AMGlad to be working together with SEEDS to impact this challenge (I'm not too swift at keeping track, however).-
Sarna Salzman 4/24/2020 3:53 PMI forgot this challenge was going on at all for a bit there, life & work has been so full!

Mark VanderKlipp 4/07/2020 5:43 AMIt's tough to stay engaged in this since I've been so busy trying to do work that I'd normally not be doing right now, but I'm glad to be part of the team again. Go SEEDS! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONClimate Choose LED BulbsChanging lightbulbs is an excellent first step toward energy efficiency! In what other ways can you exercise your civic duty to protect the environment and reduce carbon emissions?
Mark VanderKlipp 4/07/2020 5:41 AMDid it! I put LEDs in my garage which are much better for nighttime visibilty.-
Elizabeth Dunham 4/07/2020 8:29 AMGreat job, Mark!

REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Building Resilience Connect While Social DistancingHow does connecting with others help your own mental and emotional health? How can it help support others?
Mark VanderKlipp 4/07/2020 5:41 AMReally critical to speak to people who we otherwise would be visiting in person, or who we would normally not connect with but are checking in for different parts of the country. We're doing this almost every night with people in our extended friend circle. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Building Resilience Spend Time OutsideRachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?
Mark VanderKlipp 4/07/2020 5:39 AMIt has been the most healing part of my day, to be able to step outside at least twice for walks of over 30 minutes with my dog and/or family members.
