One way oceans support life on earth is that their a food source to humans, they can also be used as water supplies.

I joined the challenge because my teachers wanted me too. But now I like getting points. Not for my team, but for my self-a-steam.

    Food Weekly Meal Planning
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Does this surprise you? Where would you rather use this money?

This does surprise me, but of course you can't just by one meal eat than buy another meal than eat it. But it still surprised me. I would rather use the money to get a new phone. Maybe a TV.

This does surprise me because many people buy an abundance of food because they have big families. Come to find out that that food is wasted and it is usually worth 1,500 dollars a year. That is a huge waste. Personally when I would throw away food I though at the moment that is was a little. In reality by the end of the year I have wasted 240 pounds. I am ashamed of myself. I rather spend that money on clothes, bills, and other necessary items, no food that is wasted. This is very shocking.

It was quite easy to change my diet because of quarantine I don't drink coffee, and my Dad doesn't make food with palm oil.

I would say because they can afford it more easily because meat can be expansive.

It was somewhat hard to change my diet. This is because I changed having cocoa and coffee. It was not hard to stop drinking coffee because I usually drink coffee on and off. Although cocoa was hard because I usually like chocolate and to not have it for a week it was hard. I had to break the cycle. Over all this was an interesting challenge.

One of my favorite things to do is to cook. Knowing I was able to make something really yummy has a certain feeling of accomplishment that can only come by doing something with your own two hands. Right now I am brainstorming ideas for my Reducing Animal Products challenge so I can not only earn more points for my team but also eat a healthier more sustainable pallet.
