    How does knowing the difference between use by, sell by, and best by dates empower you to make better decisions?

    With my knowledge on these different labels, I am able to utilize the products that have these labels to the best of my abilities. Furthermore, I think the best part about my expanded knowledge is that I can share the information with others, so everyone has a better understanding of these labels and their purposes.

    Oceans Say No to Plastic Straws
    What single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?

    I try to always be prepared on typical single use alternatives. However, I occasionally get a straw in my drink before I can ask, and I sometimes forget my coffee cup. I would like to be better about bringing my reusable coffee cup and being better about saying no in a polite way.

    How difficult or easy was it to change your diet?

    It was very interesting to see how impacted we are by these products. I still own these products, but after full use, I will not purchase these products, and I will try to only buy products the positively contribute to our environment in this area.
