I gifted produce from Farm Cart Organics to my friend for her birthday last week. She loved it!

We suffer from issues of periodic drought (like many places) and also heavily burdened water sources. We have a climate that is more arid. We need more community regulation of water resources including education, alternatives, and incentives. 

I am careful to reduce the amount of chemicals used in my household - especially those that wash down the drain via beauty products. For several years now, I have been relying heavily on sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners that are vegan and gluten-free. Bottles are really destructive - particularly plastic for a whole host of reasons. There are so may alternatives. At an individual level, there are glass bottles and/or in-home systems. Companies can choose in-office filtration systems. 

Meat is a tough one. People have different resources and different needs, yet we all live in the same community. If going meatless is too much, greater balance among the food groups can help our world community. 

I have a lot of respect for businesses that compost. My own company composts!
