Action Track: Building Resilience Spend Time Outside
Rachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?

This definitely rings true for me. If we spend all of our time indoors, maybe we're not really whole? We all crave nature...we put flowers in vases on counters, we have pets, we have indoor plants, we might have posters or paintings of nature hanging on our walls. But we can't always bring nature TO us, we have to go find her where she is. I'm never been religious or felt spiritual until I thought of the passing of the seasons or appreciated where food comes from. I still believe I have so much more to learn.
