I am able to connect with the world outside of myself. It helps me put things into perspective. The natural world is where I can easily see the 'hand of God'.

I can make an educated decision knowing when the item is freshest. I may choose to eat the product past the Best by and be assured the item is still good.

April 1 at 2:25 PMReducing consumption of meat is a positive way to reduce the methane given off by animal waste. If demand for meat is reduce, then possibly the production would also be reduced. Eating a more plant based diet is healthier for people and for the planet.
