I wasn't aware of certain animals being nocturnal (fox!) so that was fun! 

they're the future! We need them for certain species to survive and help other parts of the eco-system to thrive

It makes me hopeful to do a community clean up - like we're not the only ones who care and are trying to take care of our community. 

I can investigate my local area and start working with local organizations to advocate for better processes if we're impacted.

they are the natural habitat for loads of things that go into our food

I think the use of rain barrels would be helpful for things like lawn watering, gardening, car washing rather than using water from the tap. More education and incentives about such options (and making them affordable) would be great.
