Recent updates from this team-
April 30 at 1:56 PMI wasn't aware of certain animals being nocturnal (fox!) so that was fun!
-
April 30 at 1:55 PMthey're the future! We need them for certain species to survive and help other parts of the eco-system to thrive
-
April 30 at 1:55 PMIt makes me hopeful to do a community clean up - like we're not the only ones who care and are trying to take care of our community.
-
April 30 at 1:54 PMI can investigate my local area and start working with local organizations to advocate for better processes if we're impacted.
-
April 30 at 1:53 PMthey are the natural habitat for loads of things that go into our food
-
April 29 at 12:51 PMI think the use of rain barrels would be helpful for things like lawn watering, gardening, car washing rather than using water from the tap. More education and incentives about such options (and making them affordable) would be great.
-
April 29 at 12:50 PMWe conserve as much as we can and teach our daughter to do the same!
-
April 29 at 12:49 PMI think there's a lot of wildlife that's impacted; our main water source is as clean as its been since people originally settled here, but there's more to do. I have joined a local organization to find out more about improvements and access to clean water for people in our area.
-
April 29 at 12:48 PMI've been watching shows on agricultural shifts over the last couple of hundred years, the drivers behind demand and local sourcing, etc. Fascinating topic, don't know that I have many answers. Looking forward to learning more.
-
April 29 at 12:09 PMI'm proud of the local food bank and the co-op farms that have popped up in the area that are focused on access to growing and knowledge sharing about more diy local sustainability
