    This Ecochallenge opened my eyes to how I can conserve water through the daily Fresh Water challenges. I will continue these efforts to conserve on of the Earth's precious resources.

    I learned how we are harming our oceans and how vital they are to the Earth. I will do more to minimize my effects on the ocean and encourage others to do the same.

    I agree with this statement.  We need to connect with natural beauty.  Any outdoor activity, such as running, taking a hike, gardening, or walking the dog, are necessary to connect with nature and recognize its wonder.  Spending time indoors is fine, but people need to get outside to feel like they are a part of something bigger than their homes.

    Walking or riding a bike helps me to engage my local community on a closer scale.  I see neighbors, stop, and talk briefly.  While in a motor vehicle, I am enclosed and often alone with my own thoughts.  Walking and running allows me to see members of my local community and connect.

    I am more engaged with my community by volunteering, and am more invested.  By volunteering, I have built personal connections with younger people and our environment.  With these connections, I have a greater interest in the well-being of my community.

    Yes, it helps.  I appreciate hearing experiences from other perspectives.  I learn about different means other people employ to help others within their communities.  I empathize with similar and dissimilar situations and impacts felt that may be greater than my own.
