April 30 at 10:18 AMIt was very eye opening to see how much food goes in the trash. By the end of week two or maybe three (whos counting anymore) of composting we had filled a large composting bin, probably the size of several garbage bags. As we have begun a vegetable garden, we hope this compost will be ready by the end of the summer for our autumn crops....

We walked to the post office to get our mail, meaning we did not use our car at all today... like most of the days now... And we watch our garden slowly grow under the green houses despite the cold weather!
