    We did not take out trip because of coronavirus. We had to call the airlines many, many times.

    We could substitute mugs, glass cups, reusable water bottles, reusable bags, etc.

    People in richer countries eat more meat probably because meat can be expensive and hard to get, depending on what is being hunted.  If we continue to eat more meat, then the food chain will start to be thrown off. Animals that provide meat will be kept in farms and kept out of their natural environment. I think that the world should cut down...

    I'm excited because we are continuing to work with the Marist students to figure out how to do the planting of 100 trees and plants as a riparian buffer along the Landsman Kill. The planting is postponed til May 9 and it won't be open to the public. But the Marist students, the Village Highway Dept and the CSC are still on board!

    It helps to connect with people who might have a hard time being with their families and not seeing their friends. You can call them to support them during these times and make sure you are there for them

    It surprises me a lot. $1,500 is a lot of money and could be used to chip in to save our environments. I would rather save the money, or donate it to charity rather than buy food you won't eat.

    I researched an otter. I learned that the moms pull the young otters when the cannot swim.

    I learned that gray wolves are the largest members in the dog family, some look similar to German shepherd. Gray wolves "territory" can be up to 13,000 km.  My favorite fact is probably that wolves and dogs DNA only differ from 2/10 of one percent (0.2), making their DNA so similar it is surprising to me because of how different dogs...
