April 30 at 2:01 PMBecause I get to see what people throw out the windows or their cars or let blow out of their trash? If anything, I feel more disconnected because I feel that my community doesn't care about how much trash it is producing or how much is going to the landfill.

April 30 at 2:00 PMI really dislike that everyone thinks they need to have a green lawn. And to keep it green, it needs a certain amount of water every day. Why not plant drought-resistant or native grasses? A mono-culture is not a sustainable culture and it isn't very interesting. I would much rather see prairie grass than a green lawn.
