I can take a bag with gloves to remove trash as I take my walk and dispose of the trash in a responsible way. This will help my environment.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Fresh Water Use a Reusable Water Bottle
Using the links provided, investigate the bottling practices of water corporations. There have been many cases where the water rights of the local people have been violated or even completely disregarded when a corporation decides to bottle water from a particular water source. How can you advocate for those who have been harmed - both humans and wildlife - by this bottling process?

Soil, sun and plants in my yard have an impact on the animals around my house. I need to be more aware of what I plant.

I watched a webinar on the sand hill cranes of Russia. It lasted 1 hour. Russia and China are working together to keep a safe flyway for migration. The mention of the virus made us realize this is a global concern.

It’s the last day of the eco challenge! It’s been so great to do this together!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Reduce Animal Products
Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?

Maybe people in richer countries feel entitled to eat more meat and it doesnt really matter what it is, as long as it's unique. Depending on where you are, there is a domino effect where the more you eat, the less meat is available for animals to eat and they die which leaves something undone, to put it simply. It's more complicated than that.

It's raining today so I am watching for low spots in the yard and enjoying the bird activity around the water.
