My focus on supporting local businesses was the best thing I got from this ecochallenge.

I got plenty of outdoor time when I shut my computer off on April 26th after the Virtual Earth Day Festival came to an end.  But in doing so, I completely forgot about the ecochallenge.

This has been an interesting eco challenge, much too short to establish habits, but I have enjoyed it just the same.

What a fun challenge that re-energized my green activities. I learned a lot and enjoyed watching our collective actions that help take care of the earth. I will do my best to keep going even though the challenge is over.

Learned about ocean health and conservation by watching the Netflix documentary Chasing Coral. I highly rec this film as well. Gorgeous visuals paired with the heart wrenching reality of ocean creature and habitat loss and the attempts to slow and save the coral reefs. https://www.chasingcoral.com/

I have learned so much from each of your posts and the challenges/reflection questions offered through the challenge. During this uncertain time of COVID and needing to stay at home, my daily check-in with the Ecochallenge was a welcome addition to...

They are one of the most important links in the diversity part of biodiversity. Aside from the trees, which spread their pollen in the wind, it's the pollinators that distribute the genes of a plant outside of that plant's immediate vicinity

While doing the enviro-communications work I (typically, and LOVE to) do at my dining room table, appreciating the River Birch tree out one window and the dogwoods out another, I have to remind myself why I am seeing these lovely views while working. Because if I were not here, in ONE place, I'd be contributing to risk of life for countless...

I really appreciated this opportunity to focus on learning and modifying my habits in April.  It helps to have a place to check in, self-monitor progress,  and connect with others.   Thanks Ecochallenge, and thank you St. Louis Goes Green! Team.  Now,  onward and upward!!!   😊
